At each of our openings we have a talk during the first half-hour for members only. At the opening of Radical Modernism, our Creative Director, Matt Terlich spoke about the exhibit. We also offered an opportunity for members to create a risograph about what it meant to them to be radical with Chicago designers, Soumya Kasuganti, Dave Pabellon, and Phil Parcellano. DJ, Dave Castillo spun beats. Photos by Peyote Creative.
Led the events team at ChiDM to create a 700 person opening event, for the exhibition Unfolded an exhibition about paper. We had special origami activities for attendees.

Summer Shorts is an opportunity for Chicago video, film and animation artists to share their work on the big screen. Writers have the opportunity to read their work in front of a large live audience. If you're in Chicago, join un August 22nd, for a sideyard viewing. Seat reservations. Tumblr
When I'm not designing I enjoy creating drawings, illustrations, printmaking + moving pictures! Last summer, my friends and artists, Young Cho, Kayce Bayer and I or rallied around the topic, and created an event called Summer Shorts. We wanted to showcase Chicago artists making moving pictures. We featured artists in Chicago, and drew over 60 people to the event. Paul Luikart curated the writers/readers for the event. It was great fun and we're just getting started on this 2015's summer viewing. Click here to see last year's artists.
